Devices for data acquisition can be connected via serial or digital interfaces as well as via relays or Gigabit Ethernet.
For best connectivity data streams are transmitted via Gigabit Ethernet, WLAN (IEEE 802.11ac) or mobile radio.
The integrated UIC 559 converter transforms diagnostic data from proprietary systems into a standardized format. This data provides the planning basis for operation and maintenance. It also enables real-time remote monitoring of the manufacturer's maintenance activities.
The NXP/Freescale ARM CPU is optimized for high data throughput and enables preprocessing and thus the reduction of data to be transferred. It's main memory also allows data to be buffered for several days.
The MicroSD slot can be used to store a complete operating system.
The integrated ultra-wide-range power supply is fully compliant with EN 50155, Class S2 and tolerates interruptions of up to 10 ms. As an option, power can be supplied via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).
The Ethernet data logger is designed according to the international standard EN 50155. Components have to meet the strictest environmental requirements, e.g. an extended temperature range. In addition, they must be resilient to shocks and vibrations.
